Primarily, I share the stories of women, from celebrities in a tough spot, such as Michelle Branch and Paris Hilton, to those opening up about sexual abuse, including a survivor of child porn, a daughter born of incest, and the plaintiff in the largest-ever revenge porn case. I’ve spoken with politicians, like the senator who lost her election after voting against Brett Kavanaugh, New York’s first female attorney general, and the youngest Black woman to serve in Congress. I’ve interviewed moms who were addicted to opiates, and young women about how to afford rehab. I’ve examined how much female officers could address police brutality, why mothers get abortions, and why the number of women in prison is up 1,260% in a generation. I’ve talked to women who had their designs stolen by global corporations, who had giant financial windfalls, who survived time on Rikers Island, and who successfully sued or were forced to perform for Donald Trump.
